Sahara and Grand Sierra Resort launch Infinity Rewards joint loyalty program

Loyal patrons of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino Reno (GSR) and SAHARA Las Vegas can now enjoy double the benefits. On Oct. 1, the sister properties will launch the all-new Infinity Rewards joint loyalty program giving players the opportunity to earn and redeem rewards across both destinations.

GSR and SAHARA will utilize the same benefit system for the first time — granting seamless loyalty rewards for members. Infinity Rewards cardholders will be eligible to receive unique benefits at both GSR and SAHARA, receive personalized offers and enjoy one-of-a-kind access to amenities at both resorts including spa services, upgraded rooms and even dinners at popular culinary destinations like the award-winning Bazaar Meat by José Andrés at SAHARA Las Vegas and Charlie Palmer Steak at GSR.

Linking the loyalty programs is yet another step in the ongoing evolution of GSR and SAHARA under Alex Meruelo’s ownership. Since purchasing GSR in 2011, Meruelo has invested more than $250 million in renovations to make GSR northern Nevada’s premier gaming-resort. Meruelo began investing another $150 million in transforming SAHARA upon purchasing the iconic Strip resort in 2018. Investing in the integration and upgrade of the rewards programs to the new Infinity Rewards builds upon the superior experiences players have come to expect from GSR and SAHARA, providing even greater value for their loyalty. Future benefits of the new loyalty program will include entertainment and special access to resort amenities.

Infinity Rewards will replace Club Grand at GSR and Club 52 at SAHARA. Current cardholders in both programs will maintain their tier status in the equivalent Infinity Rewards tier and will not lose points or comps during the transition period. Club Grand and Club 52 member accounts will automatically transfer to Infinity Rewards on Oct. 1, players simply need to pick up their new loyalty card at the Infinity Rewards desk prior to gaming at either property.

Accompanied by a sleek new design featuring six new tier levels and colors, the upgraded Infinity Rewards program comes with improved dining and room discounts, birthday point multipliers, bonus drawing entries and more. Tier levels include Select, Premier, Elite, Legend, Iconic and Infinite. Players keep their tier status for 12 months. Guests who sign up as a new Infinity Rewards member this October can expect to receive an exclusive new member bonus for joining the program.
