he hotel. Unfortunately for them they can’t mix this with with gaming. It’s not easy to mix being the cool place to be with gamblers that aren’t cool but help fill the bottom line. Palms and Wynn may have been the only casinos to do this successfully.
Palms focused on bringing in the local gamblers, while Wynn focused on high rollers. Wynn’s strategy for mixing high rollers and cool kids seems to be working while the cool factor has definitely left Palms.
I don’t often look at earnings, but with all of the Cosmo talk in the past week or so, I figured it would make sense to look at the dollars involved. The property is in an interesting position and it will be interesting to see what happens next.
