People are often asking what hotels in Las Vegas they can stay for cheap. My immediate response is downtown or check expedia to see what you can afford. When the question stays on the strip, it’s a littleĀ more complicated but not really. It’s just too much for a tweet.
I’m writing this as a reference of hotel/casinos to look at if you’re looking for cheap options broken down by area in Las Vegas.

I can’t reco a specific hotel, but I’ve heard that sites like betterbidding.com will help you figure out what hotel you’ll get based on the data provided. So, for example, if priceline or hotels.com or whatever is offering a ‘5 star hotel on the North Strip’, you can be pretty much certain they mean Wynn or Encore. and, of course, the site will also tell you what you should bid.
disclaimer: i’ve never done this myself, I’m merely going by what I read a while back.
My favorite “cheap” place in Vegas is Bill’s. Nice rooms, great staff, and almost always can be had for around $70 a nite…and NO resort fees.
Good option. It never shows up on my total rewards and I always forget about it. Great price for the location.
