Nacho Daddy: Voted Best…

Nacho Daddy Sign Downtown Las Vegas

I was bored last week so I decided to spend a day and night in Downtown Vegas mostly on Fremont Street. Surprisingly, I didn’t gamble much but I had a great time anyway. I’ll be sharing highlights throughout the week.

Best Margarita In Vegas At Nacho Daddy Downtown Vegas

If you know me you know that I don’t drink tequila. The last time I had tequila I vomited on myself. No bueno. Good thing I met up with someone willing to taste test the margarita at Nacho Daddy.

I needed to know if the sign was true or false advertising! With that in mind I had an ice cold beer. It was so cold that there was almost ice forming on the top of my beer.

Unlike previous visits I didn’t go to Nacho Daddy to eat. It was to meet up with Gray from Vegas Solo and have a drink. Unbeknownst to either of us we found Scott from Vital Vegas sitting at the corner of the bar.

I don’t eat sushi but $24.95 for All You Can Eat (AYCE) anything sounds like a good deal. Jayde Fuzion at M Resort is 3.5 Stars on Yelp so this might be a good excuse to strap on a feed bag and head a few miles away from the action on the strip. M Resort is a great casino sometimes offers like this give people an excuse to leave the comfort of the Vegas Strip.

UPDATE: I must have missed that this includes free sake. That makes this an even better deal!

The press release is below if you want more info.

Beginning Sunday, June 1, Jayde Fuzion at M Resort Spa Casino will proudly offer all-you-can-eat sushi Sunday through Thursday at the sushi bar. Guests will enjoy unlimited sushi, nigiri and hand rolls, along with complimentary sake, for $24.95 per person (pre-tax).

Green Valley Ranch Renovations Include 2 Pizza Jointzzz

Green Valley Ranch Las Vegas
Green Valley Ranch

I’ve been to Green Valley Ranch once in 3 years. It’s a nice casino but there’s nothing there that’s worth going out of my way for. GVR is owned by Station Casinos and I live down the street from their flagship property, Red Rock Resort. I already have the best Station Casinos has to offer just down the street.

There’s rarely a reason for me to visit the other side of the Vegas Strip. Adding two pizza joints and a Keno lounge won’t change that. The Downtown Vegas location of Pizza Rock is a much more convenient location for me and I will return soon. If you like GVR here are the details on the $20 million renovation.

Press Release:

Station Casinos LLC will invest $20 million over the next year in Green Valley Ranch Resort by introducing a new lineup of four acclaimed restaurant and bar concepts, as well as enhancing other venues and amenities within the AAA Four Diamond award-winning property in Henderson. New concepts include Mercadito, Tippling Hall, Pizza Rock and Tony’s Slice House.

The news comes on the heels of Station Casinos recent announcement that its other luxury resort, Red Rock Resort, will undergo a $35 million investment, bringing a total of $55 million in capital improvements and new offerings to both resorts.

Highlights of the $20 million reinvestment include:
