On Saturday, Caesars Palace confirmed that its poker room is closed. The casino in the center of the Vegas Strip says the closure is temporary.

The tweet above does not point to a temporary location for the Caesars Palace poker room. Instead, it refers poker players to cross the street and play at the World Series of Poker Hall of Fame room at Horseshoe (formerly Bally’s).
For those unfamiliar with the layout of the Horseshoe casino floor, the poker room is close to the new Versailles Tower that is technically part of Paris Las Vegas.
Caesars has eight Las Vegas casinos but only two poker rooms. Well, the company is down to one poker room with the closure of the Caesars Palace poker room.
The Caesars Palace poker room will be used as a high-limit slots room for 60-90 while the current space is being renovated. There’s new official news about whether the poker room will return to the old space after the renovation is completed.
Last week Caesars sold the WSOP brand. There’s no word if the closure is connected to the sale. There’s no news on the future of the Caesars Palace poker room at all.
Pokernews.com was the first to share this news in June. There are no updates on whether or not there will be a temporary space or if the Caesars Palace poker room will return at all.
