If you’ve ever stayed at a Caesars Entertainment hotel in Las Vegas may have seen or stood in an incredibly long line for Total Rewards Gold members at check-in. It’s amazing how understaffed they are but that’s another story.
Now there’s a way to avoid those huge lines at Bally’s. As you can see from the in the image above you just have to visit ballys.com/checkin6 on your mobile phone, enter your name, enter your check-in date and your reservation confirmation number.
You’ll receive a text when your room is ready.
That’s it. It’s a simple process. While you’ll save time checking into your room you probably won’t be able to talk your way into a complimentary upgrade which is becoming more difficult as front desk agents are upselling everything from a view to a safe to different type of room.
Expect early check-in to expand to other properties after Caesars’ works out any kinks they may find with this process.

Marc, my wife and I will be at the Mirage next month. We have room/resort fee, gaming and resort credits/comps. When I set up the trip through M Life VIP services, the rep said I could ask for an upgraded room upon check in…the question is, do you think the $20 trick, as it is know, would work at the Mirage/odds? LOL
Thanks.
It doesn’t hurt to ask! If you’re looking for a larger room tell them that the view doesn’t matter. If you want a view just let them know. It’s easier for the agent when they know what you’re looking for. Good luck.
Makes sense…thank you.
Everyone is different. I’m typically with you regarding a view but I know people that won’t spend a day.night in Vegas without having the view and don’t mind paying extra for it. To each their own. 🙂
Wanted to check back in with everyone and tell you of my experience with the mobile check-in. I received an email regarding the mobile check-in the morning of my trip from Bally’s. I just needed to select the time I would be arriving and provide an email or cell phone number. I preferred a text. My flight wasn’t scheduled to arrive until 4:30 so I requested a 5:00 p.m. check in. Once I arrived at the airport I checked my phone and low and behold there was a text that said my keys were ready for pick-up and that I could pick them up at the mail/key pick-up line. My hubby was not convinced that they were really ready. We got a shuttle and arrived around 6:00 pm. When we walked in, the check in line was about 35 people deep with only 3 people working the counters. I spotted the line for the key pick-up with only one person in line. I went over and was called within 5 minutes. I showed my paperwork and was handed the card to sign and then was handed my keys!!!! They also put me up in the newly renovated Jubilee Tower. I did not ask for an upgrade and the room was very nice. Had a fridge and coffee maker and a very large walk in shower. View wasn’t bad either. overlooked the bazaar shops below and I could see the observation wheel as well. It took a total of about 10 minutes to complete the entire check-in process including the wait in line. I looked at the line as I was walking out and got some dirty looks. My hubby told a few of the people in line that next time use the on-line check-in. My suggestion to all is if you are staying at any Caesars properties and you are given this process for check-in, take it. I will do so every time that I am going to be staying at any of their properties.
Viva Las Vegas Baby!
Thanks for the follow up. That sounds like a pretty great experience!
