The lease at asymmetrical revenue-trickling Tropicana Field runs through 2027, and though the franchise excels perennially these days on Moneyball principles, perhaps there is one resource that will make the next decade-and-a-half less challenging. That’s right. Old people. And you’ve got tons of ’em. In fact, 20% of the greater Tampa area is 65 or older.Old people love slots. Do the math.
