There’s Much More Happening At SLS Las Vegas Than You Realize

Blackjack Monkey

SLS Las Vegas has been sending out a huge update of promotions, concerts, restaurant and bar specials, locals only deals, nightlife, etc. happenings every week for the past couple of months. I share some of the information on the sites I work with when appropriate but much of the information is really only news once.

The new direction SLS has taken has brought a lot of activity to SLS that’s a little beyond what the typical news outlets might cover. I’m not sure that this is working to grow revenue but it’s good to see them at least trying.

I expect the property will continue to evolve into a casino that’s very different from the one that opened last year. With these updates in mind I wanted to share the current happenings at SLS. There’s a lot of information below so I limited my editing. Check out the haps.

Until they lower the prices and improve the time on machine, they can do all they want till they turn blue, but without any value or good odds, they are sunk. They have to decide if they want to focus their marketing efforts on gamblers, hotel, nightclub, etc. They will improve what they focus on if they understand the mindset of their target. Gamblers will not pay top dollar for beer and soda or to eat. Hire someone who has some actual operational experience rather than top tier guys who have never been on a casino floor.

I think this repurposing of the property speaks to everything you’re saying.
