Okay, I’m listening.
This idea sounds very interesting. Here’s what, Jim Koch, the brewer of Sam Adams tells Esquire.
…he has swallowed your standard Fleischmann’s dry yeast before he drinks, stirring the white powdery substance in with some yogurt to make it more palatable.
“One teaspoon per beer, right before you start drinking.”
I’m pretty sure that I’ll never pound a dozen teaspoons of anything before I go out to the casino for the night. That may weigh my dice arm down. I can’t have that.
Maybe a company will make this in tablet form. I might even pop a dozen pieces of candy dried yeast if it tasted like Flintstones Vitamins in order to stay sober. If you’d like to try this you can buy 1 pound of Fleischmann’s Dry Yeast for $7.25 on Amazon.
Even though it doesn’t say that this works for other forms of alcohol I’m going to guess this would work for other forms of alcohol. You might want to check with a doctor if you’re serious about this.
This is a great idea, now make it more palatable. Until then I’ll enjoy the buzz. How about you?
